About Us

Health Academy Porta Bohemica is designed as a competence center of Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem. This regional hospital with a lot of education and research activities is a part of the Regional Health Corporation, the group of five hospitals in Northern Bohemia.

This initiative– with the focal point formed by intersection of the three areas:

• Medicine & HealthCare,
• Organisation & Management,
• ICT & eHealth,

forms a platform for progressive actions based on three rudiments:

1. Education,
2. Research & Development (R&D),
3. ICT & eHealth;

quite unique in the national but also in an international context.
